Pulumi: IAC in .NET
Choosing the right cloud engineering platform is critical. Some of you might consider switching to Infrastructure as code, some of you might not know what it is. Expect an introduction to infrastructure as code using Pulumi, best practices and some useful tips and tricks.
Having used both Pulumi and Terraform in production, each have their own advantages and disadvantages. Writing HCL is often too much for a team just starting to learn infrastructure as code. I'll tell you my experiences and why I continue to use Pulumi over alternatives such as Terraform, Ansible & Bicep.
After seeing this session, you'll have learned the advantages of Pulumi and you'll hopefully be convinced of its capabilities and strengths for development teams, especially those working in the .NET ecosystem ranging from web to mobile development.
