For Infl*x Sake
The past is right at your fingertips, and you get to visualize it with future technology. This session is an introduction into the basic concepts of timeseries data and how you can use InfluxDB, an open source platform, to store it.
We will provide a basic overview of what InfluxDB is, and how it is used to collect and analyze large amounts of time-stamped data. We will also explain the key features of InfluxDB, such as its high performance and scalability, built-in support for SQL-like query language Flux, and the ability to handle vast amounts of time-stamped data.
Additionally, we will discuss common use cases for InfluxDB, such as monitoring and tracking metrics, IoT applications, and DevOps. We will provide examples and use cases of InfluxDB in real-world scenarios, and explain how it can be integrated with other tools and technologies Telegraf for data collection.
By the end of this presentation, students will have a good understanding of what InfluxDB is, how it is used, and how it can be applied in different areas.
