Tech Tribes takes a stake in the Open Source expert, Kangaroot.

Each with its own expertise and culture, but connected by a shared vision and values. Bringing together commercial and operational forces is a strong win within the collaboration, but the greatest added value lies in the cross-pollination of technological knowledge and experience. Our clients' complex digital challenges require cross-technology teams that can quickly adapt.
Today, we work with 700 digital experts on the digital transformation for our clients in Belgium and the Netherlands. We develop innovative solutions, provide advice, and guide transformations. We assist our clients with IT strategy, software engineering, and their hybrid platforms.
Over the past years, a growing collaboration has been established from Axxes, Euricom, and HCS Company, where the added value is increasingly apparent. Tech Tribes is proud to announce that we are welcoming a new tribe into our home of digital experts.
Kangaroot, with strong expertise in Open Source and Linux solutions, joins our group. Since 2000, Kangaroot has been the specialist in Linux and Open Source solutions. Based in Antwerp, they work with 20 consultants on open source projects for clients such as Brussels Airport Company, TVH, Bank Delen, and Jan De Nul.
After the sale of our data center activities in 2021, it was logical to also redefine the ownership structure within the organization. In doing so, we had outlined a number of parameters to guide our search for a new partner:
A local party with a pre-existing affinity for Open Source and respect for the existing culture were the most important factors. And we found these qualities abundantly in Tech Tribes.
The fact that we can now accelerate our growth plans within the group is the icing on the cake.
