Randstad Group has successfully completed a large IT infrastructure project in cooperation with Axxes. For the 'New Beat project' Ranstad called in System Engineers, IT Support Engineers and Project Managers of Axxes.

Last year Randstad Group (which also supports Tempo-team and Galilei) successfully completed a large IT infrastructure project in cooperation with Axxes. The New Beat project supports a new way of communicating and collaborating, fully inspired by the New World of Work where employees largely decide for themselves where and when they work. To this end Randstad called on Axxes who deployed System Engineers, IT Support Engineers and Project Managers to deliver the New Beat project within scope, timing and budget. Eight additional consultants were deployed for this project over a nine-month period to meet deadlines.

With a completely renewed technical design of the clients, more than 2,500 new laptops based on Microsoft Windows 8.1 were installed for New Beat. In addition, 250 new smartphones and tablets were installed, all with a view to flexible working. At the same time, new data lines were installed for the entire Randstad office network and the company migrated to Cisco VoIP.

Randstad Group also calls on Axxes to strengthen its service desk. It is important that the consultants fit into the corporate culture of the group and have broad IT knowledge. The consultants assist the Group's 2,000-plus Belgian employees with all their questions and problems relating to the IT infrastructure. It is not an easy and often stressful task, for which Randstad is happy to call in external consultants from Axxes.
